OUR ROOMS
The hotel has 21 bedrooms including 4 with ground floor access.
The rooms are decorated throughout in a warm traditional style using decorative wallpapers, antique furniture and tasteful upholstery. The hotel comprises superior doubles, standard/twin doubles and single rooms which are either located in the main hotel or the former stables which have been lovingly converted to provide additional accommodation. Many rooms have views over our pretty terraced garden with a 300 year-old cockpit, one of the few remaining in England which is now the hotel’s rod room and fishing tackle shop.
Our team of housekeepers take great pride in their work, to ensure the rooms are clean, tidy and inviting. From the moment you are escorted to your room by one of our friendly staff, bags in hand, you can start to relax and unwind by ordering room service or by taking advantage of the in-room tea making facilities and delicious shortbread biscuits.
All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with the finest Gilchrist & Soames toiletries, plentiful baths and power showers. Also, the hotel is taking every effort to reduce its carbon footprint by offering guests the opportunity of having their towels laundered every day or not as they wish.
Whether travelling on holiday or business most of our bedrooms and throughout the hotel’s public areas have Wi-Fi.
